So we can still share music with each other in 2020, Greenside Musicians are taking part in an Ongoing Home Concert.
In order to keep musical snapshots for Greenside Musicians, Catherine & Georgina created Online Scrapbooks so that students could keep records of their own personal achievements in a way that is easily shared with friends and families.
To create a sense of community during online lessons, Greenside Musicians came together (virtually!) to create a performance of the song "Wake Me Up," with each student learning their part, videoing it at home, and sending it in to be edited together into one whole piece.
We try and provide our students with various opportunities throughout the year to perform and get together with fellow Greenside pianists. In the past, these events have included Christmas concerts, Pianists Unite Recitals (small and informal concerts),
Charity Big Sings and themed music games afternoons.
