Charlie (Georgina's Student)

Greenside Music students are a hard-working and talented bunch!

Every half term, you'll be treated with a performance from one of Catherine's students and one of Georgina's students.

They'll also say a few words about why they're proud of this particular student.

Georgina says:

Charlie is a phenomenal pianist and has music running through his veins! 

The first non-method book piece Charlie mastered was ‘21 Guns’ by Green Day. 

 I remember telling him back then, “This isn’t the normal sort of piece people learn as their first piece!” 

He was playing both hands together, moving his hands, and had a Charlie style to it - it was very impressive!

In the last few years, Charlie has learnt a variety of his favourite pieces and songs. Each one posed a different challenge that Charlie took in his stride, and absolutely smashed.
